Pest problems in Homerton
Homerton has large housing estates, Victorian terraces and Homerton Hospital, with Hackney Marshes and the Lea a short walk away. Homes here are mainly purpose-built flats and estates, which shapes the pests we see and how they get in.
Rats in Homerton
In estates and blocks, overflowing bin chambers are the most common draw, and ground-floor flats are the most likely to see rats indoors. Homes in Homerton close to Hackney Marshes see the most rat activity. Rat Control in Hackney is £120 per visit.
Mice in Homerton
In flats, mice travel along pipe runs and boxing-in between homes. Treating your flat and sealing its gaps is the most effective step. We treat mice in Homerton most from October onwards. Mouse Control in Hackney is £120 per visit.
Cockroaches in Homerton
In estates, cockroaches often live in service ducts and bin chutes, so several neighbouring flats may need treating at once. In Homerton, most cockroach problems start in a kitchen or boiler cupboard. Cockroach Control in Hackney is £120 per visit.
Bed bugs in Homerton
In blocks of flats, bed bugs can travel along shared walls and through sockets and pipe gaps between homes. In Homerton, bed bugs usually arrive with luggage, second-hand furniture or new residents. Bed Bug Treatment in Hackney is £180 for up to 3 rooms.
Fleas in Homerton
New tenants often discover fleas when they move into a flat that was empty for a while, as the vibration wakes waiting fleas. Dogs walked around Hackney Marshes often bring fleas home. Flea Treatment in Hackney is £180 for up to 3 rooms.
